The Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) is an independent research and educational organization and home to the UNESCO Chair in Futures Literacy and Media & Information Literacy. ICS specializes in media literacy, futures literacy, digital skills, strategic communication, and innovative learning programmes. As the coordinator of the BTTF project, ICS leads the overall project implementation while contributing directly to MOOC 1: Are You Ready for Jobs That Don’t Exist Yet? and MOOC 3: The Future of Media and Communication. With extensive experience in international projects, capacity building, and educational innovation, ICS plays a central role in connecting futures thinking with practical learning for societal transformation.

University of Montenegro – Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro is one of the country’s leading institutions for economics, public policy, and business education. Combining academic excellence with applied research, it actively contributes to understanding economic and social change in the Western Balkans. Its strong links with policymakers, industry, and international partners help connect academic knowledge with real-world challenges. In the BTTF project, the Faculty contributes to learning activities within MOOC 1: Are You Ready for Jobs That Don’t Exist Yet? and MOOC 2: Digital Transformation and the Future of Decision-Making, bringing expertise in labour markets, economic development, finance, and emerging technologies.

Within the BTTF project, FON contributes to MOOC 2: Digital Transformation and the Future of Decision-Making and MOOC 3: The Future of Media and Communication, providing expertise in emerging technologies, digital governance, innovation, entrepreneurship, and communication. VERN University is one of Croatia’s leading private universities, recognized for its innovative, entrepreneurial, and student-centred approach to higher education. In the BTTF project, VERN contributes to MOOC 1: Are You Ready for Jobs That Don’t Exist Yet? and MOOC 3: The Future of Media and Communication, bringing expertise in psychology, communication, journalism, digital media, and media ethics. The Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Sarajevo is a leading centre for education and research in political science, sociology, communication, social policy, and human rights. With a strong tradition of interdisciplinary teaching and engagement with contemporary social issues, the Faculty promotes critical thinking, civic engagement, and future-oriented learning. In the BTTF project, it contributes to MOOC 2: Digital Transformation and the Future of Decision-Making and MOOC 4: The Future of Human Rights and Climate Futures, bringing expertise on the societal impacts of technological change, as well as issues related to democracy, equality, inclusion, human rights, and sustainable futures. The Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Tirana, and particularly its Department of Biology, is one of Albania's leading centres for education and research in biological and environmental sciences.
